Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Robland Home Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to serve as part of our growing home health care team by providing basic personal hygiene and domestic tasks as needed to our residents.

Job Responsibilities

• Travel to clients’ homes at given time
• Provide basic domestic services like meal preparation, medicine administration laundry, light housework according to needs
• Provide warm companionship and engage in friendly conversation with the clients
• Run errands, either with or for the client, as needed
• Assist with mobility issues like helping the client get in and out of bed, help the client get on and off the wheelchair, transport the client from one place to another as required etc.
• Help with personal hygiene like brushing teeth, combing hair, toileting, bathing etc
• Change bed linens regularly
• Assist with various daily activities, based on client’s limitations and needs
• Document/log client’s medicine administration behavior, client’s’ progress and overall well being for daily reports
